Categories of consumer health data
Depending on use, data may include health interests, assessment responses, measurements, treatment-seeking activity, device or browsing data that reveals health interests, and inferences drawn from such information.
Sources and purposes
Data may come from you, your device, care participants, support communications, and service providers. It is used to provide requested functions, maintain security, support care operations, and comply with law.
Sharing and authorization
The final notice must identify categories of recipients and explain when authorization is required for sale, targeted advertising, or other regulated uses. MOVA does not populate those claims until vendors and practices are confirmed.
Requests and appeals
The final process must support applicable access, deletion, withdrawal, and appeal rights, together with identity verification and authorized-agent procedures.
